Trip Introduction

The Annapurna region lies in the north part of the middle hills and central Nepal. Annapurna Trekking Region has been dominated by Annapurna Himal and the town of Pokhara. The Annapurna region is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the country. It is home to a ring of the impressive mountain with ten peaks over 6000 meters. Moreover, Annapurna one is just over 8000 meters. There are four major trekking routes in this region: to the Annapurna Sanctuary, Mardi himal, Khopra ridge trek and entire of the Annapurna circuit. The ancient Kingdom of Lo (Mustang) also geographically a part of the Annapurna region, but require a special permit because of restricted areas.
